Community Groups & Activities

The Croydon Stroke Support Group (CSSG) was founded over 16 years ago by its president Gillian Simons, a stroke survivor.

This self help group encourages fellow stroke survivors and their carers to share their experiences and support each other in a friendly and caring environment.

Activities and services include:

- day trips

- BBQ lunches and Christmas functions

- guest speakers adn demonstrators

- education and information on stroke recovery and local community services

- book and video library

- play cards or indoor bowls

- create art projects
