Congratulations to the 2010 Local Community Award Winners!

I would like to congratulate all recipients of the 2010 Local Community Service Awards.

The awards, which recognise the priceless contribution that volunteers play in our local community were a complete success, and I wish to thank everyone who was involved.

The quality and volume of the nominations highlights the amazing work that so many people do in our community to make it the fantastic place that it is. Some of the efforts which local residents put in are truly inspiring, and I was delighted to get the opportunity to recognise them with these awards.
